The time allowed was one day and the requirement was to produce marketing photography to promote a range of millinery for the new season.
The hats had a strong theme of plants & vegetables so the decision was made to base the location photography at the bustling Borough Market near London Bridge. The busy location provided its challenges with the shoot attracting a constant entourage of amateur photographers taking advantage of the opportunities presented.
Studio photography followed back at Clockwork Studios, and the whole project was wrapped up in a single day. All photography was digital.
The season's catalogue was simply and quickly produced and the distinctive photography ensured the pictures found many other uses, for instance the free publicity afforded by the London lifestyle Meridian. Prints were made at 30 by 40 inches and are still being used at trade and retail exhibitions.
