Badger's Velvet Underground

Ros Badger has collaborated with The Department Store in Brixton, South London, to create Badger’s Velvet Underground (BVU) – a curated pop-up store showcasing a collective of like minded artisans and their products, including a number of Clockwork artists.

BVU was born out of the need for designers, artisans and makers to promote their work via a low risk ‘store’. Meeting buyers (individual and wholesale) face to face is hugely beneficial for feedback and as a way to sell directly.

The Badger’s Velvet Underground collective share event space costs as well as benefiting from each others mailing lists.

Downstairs at The Department Store is the event space of the architecture practice, Squire & Partners. A simple and unique space, with beautiful exposed plaster and brickwork as well as clean, white walls.
